We are a certified chapter of the WordAlone Network. Our mission is to keep our members current with the latest activities of the parent organization along with the activities of the ELCA (Evangelical Lutheran Church in America). We do this through monthly meetings held at local area churches and through occasional email notifications.

Dear Friends; If you are among those who have decided to continue membership in an ELCA congregation, I encourage you to participate in the Conference Assembly scheduled for this coming Sunday, February 21st. Each congregation is entitled to have twice as many voting members at the Conference Assembly as they have at the synod assembly. Congregations seldom have a full compliment so you can usually just show-up and register. These meetings are important because they select the voting members from your area for the Churchwide Assembly in 2011. (You will remember the Churchwide Assembly is the body that brought us approval of the social statement on sexuality and the change in ministry standards.) The Conference Assemblies on Sunday will also consider resolutions that will get passed on to the Synod Assembly in May.
