Currently, the subject most discussed where it comes to the ELCA is the upcoming (2009) Church-wide Assembly that will be featuring the controversial "Social Statement on Human Sexuality." Right now there is a draft of this statement available. A "draft" is a document that really is nothing more than a "work in progress." However, it is available for view and study at the ELCA website and can be found by using the preceding link.
